Dance classes are for everyone!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or an absolute beginner, 581 Dance NYC classes will make sure you have fun and make progress.

Over 40% of students took their first dance class ever with 581 Dance NYC, so if you’re new to dancing, you’re in good company.

If you’re already a dancer, classes provide the opportunity to improve your abilities, refine your craft, and focus on performance.

Class structure

All classes follow the same format:

  • introductions: get to know your classmates

  • warm-up: stretch and warm up to a fun playlist

  • choreography: learn the choreography step-by-step

  • review: go over the steps with music

  • recording: optional recording opportunity

All classes in Manhattan unless otherwise noted on the schedule.
