Our mission is to provide a fun & supportive environment for anyone who wants to dance! 581 Dance NYC classes are perfect whether you’re starting your dance journey, or you can always be found in the studio.
Choose from a variety of dance styles, including KPop, Pop, Broadway/Musical, and Choreography. Classes are for dancers of all levels, and are online and in-person in NYC.
Dance projects, including cover videos, create additional opportunities for camaraderie and time to improve and perfect a dance.
All dance classes are taught with modifications, so you can learn at your level, while also challenging yourself!

About the founder
Jaclyn is a Brooklyn-based dancer who specializes in teaching KPop and Pop dance classes. Her dance journey began as a child taking ballet and jazz. When she entered college, she joined a Bollywood a cappella group, where she learned Bollywood dancing. After graduating, she continued Bollywood dancing in New York City for several years.
In summer 2021, a friend introduced her to KPop, and she fell in love with the choreography. She took her first K-Pop dance classes in Los Angeles, taught by a former K-Pop trainee. Back in NYC, she expanded her dance interests to jazz funk and street jazz, which she still practices.
She is the creator of A.Muse dance crew, and performs in K-Pop and choreography shows across the city. She is the dance teacher for K-talk, a Korean language learning school in Long Island City.
Jaclyn founded 581 Dance NYC in March 2023, with the goal of creating an enthusiastic and welcoming environment for people of all ability levels and ages. She can’t wait to dance with you!
